2024 Communicating the Good Driver Rate Cap
The AIRB reviewed insurer communications with policyholders to evaluate if they were in fact adequate. The report identified gaps in information, highlighted best practices and made other recommendations to improve communication to Alberta policyholders.
Collection & Reporting System (CARS) User’s Guide

Annual Review 2024
The AIRB has started its 2024 Annual Review process to analyze industry loss experience for PPV to establish industry benchmarks to assess insurance companies’ PPV rate filings for basic and additional coverage. The AIRB is consulting with interested stakeholders as part of its Annual Review. The Open Meeting was held through a webinar on August 15, 2024.
