Rating Profiles Submissions
Collection & Reporting System (CARS) portal to submit rating profiles.
Fleet Confirmation Form
The AIRB may exempt insurers who write only fleet or garage experience rated risks from the filing requirements. The insurer requesting an exemption must submit the Fleet Confirmation Form through CARS and reconfirm the nature of its underwriting activity annually.

This regulation establishes a number of consumer protection measures dealing with a variety of insurance topics, including auto insurance.
Premiums Regulation
This regulation establishes the approval process for auto insurance rating programs, requires an annual review of auto insurance trends and premiums relating to basic and additional coverage for private passenger vehicles (PPVs), and establishes a ‘grid’ mechanism used to determine the base premium for basic coverage for PPVs.
Rate Board Fee Regulation
This regulation allows the cost of regulating auto insurance rates to be covered by insurance companies rather than by Alberta taxpayers.

Autonomous vehicles can drive, steer, brake, and park themselves. GPS capabilities help them do all of these things. These vehicles also have advanced sensing systems that detect signs, signals, unexpected obstacles, and lane boundaries.
